It is essential that all students, K4-12th grade, follow the mandatory dress code every day. Shirts must be buttoned and tucked in with no exceptions. All pants must be at waist level. Belts are recommended for all students. We strongly urge parents/guardians to put children’s names inside their clothing.

The following is the dress code of Atlas Preparatory Academy:

Solid Color Pants/Shorts/Jumper/Skort/Skirts: Khaki or navy blue pants, shorts, jumper, skort or skirt. A belt is recommended.

Shirts: Any type of solid color polo shirt, button down shirt, sweater, sweatshirt, and any shirt or tank top worn under shirts, is acceptable in the following colors: light blue, navy blue, or white. Shirts must have a collar and be long enough to ensure that no mid-area skin is shown at any time under any circumstances (must be able to raise hand over head). Small brand labels and the Atlas Preparatory Academy logo will be accepted. However, slogans or other writing on clothing are not acceptable.

Cold Weather Uniform: As the weather gets colder, we understand the need for warmth. We also expect students to continue to follow our uniform policy. The following are acceptable cold weather uniform clothing: long sleeved undershirts that are white, light blue, or navy blue to go under the collared uniform shirt; white, light blue, or navy blue sweatshirts to go over the collared uniform shirt; and white, light blue, or navy blue sweaters to go over the collared uniform shirt.

Shoes: Casual shoes or athletic shoes must be worn. Shoes should be kept in a clean and presentable condition. No high heels, slippers, or open-toed shoes are allowed to be worn.

Cut-offs, garments with holes in them, skirts and shorts shorter than two inches above the knee, split skirts, halter/tank/tube tops, clothing with gang signs, clothing with slogans, hats, caps, head wraps, dew rags, bandannas, or any other inappropriate clothing is not acceptable at any time.
