Admissions
Atlas Preparatory Academy participates in both the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program and the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program, helping provide educational opportunities for all families.
Are you ready to get your child’s educational journey started with us? Here’s how to begin!
First, see if you qualify for the Private School Choice Program by clicking this link: https://dpi.wi.gov/parental-education-options/choice-programs/student-applications
If you have already created an account, you can simply add Atlas Preparatory Academy to your list of schools.
Here are some quick tips to get you started:
- If you are a first time applicant, you will need proof of income. There are two options for this:
- DPI method which will require income tax documents for the previous year, or documentation showing participation in FoodShare, W2 or SSI for the previous year. If you received cash, or did not have any income, you can make statements explaining how you made ends meet.
- DOR method is much simpler because it only requires you to enter your social security number. From there, the WI Department of Revenue will check your income and communicate whether or not you qualify for the Choice Program to the WI Department of Public Instruction.
- Once your information is in, make sure you select Atlas Preparatory Academy from your choice of schools. You may choose any other school you are interested in as well, this will not disqualify you, or change the terms of your application.
